ok people this is a mix of a few different martial arts and as for the "dancing" an educated person could tell its practise for muscle stregnth and flexablity which is needed for kicks and also helps improve ur agility and stamina whcih is very good to have in a fight. They have taikwando in there as well as kung fu. And for those STREET FIGHTERS guns r not used in a right fight and those kicks to ur head will knock u out so fast u wont have time to even try and throw a punch againt them.

The problem with MMA is that a lot of the respect and culture that MMA derived from is lost in the sport. People in the UFC are extremely disrespectful and exhibit MMA as a barbaric sport. I have been practicing martial arts for 12 years and trained in MMA. The MMA instructors never emphasize, respect and honor. They are only concerned with winning and being a meathead.

Erm, saying the Bodhidharma is not from India is like saying Karate did not come from China. In Malayalam, "bodhi" means brains, intelligect, etc. This is a common term for most languages in India. Dharma... I am not sure there is a Malayalam term for that, but in North India, dharma is duty. Bodhidharma would mean "Intelligence, duty" in most parts of India. I agree each system has it's of styles, Example: Jujitsu has over 700 known styles. Just like the art of Karate(Okinawa) has alot of chinese and japanese influence. Like Kung Fu's origins can be traced back to dharma Marga and Wushu, but the style of style of wing chun was developed by a young woman who founded her own style.

Look at Jim Arvanitis's martial art Pankration.
