Well I know this ending is better than the one planned but its a total waste to leave it opened for a sequel and then not make one, not to be rude but they might as well have gone with the original ending, its been 7 years and Rare still hasn't given a green light to let Seavor create a new one despite the fact he's more than ready and willing to and already has the plot for the next one planned out. Actually, I much prefer this ending over the original. The original ending was basically the same thing, only rather than Conker walking out of the tavern at the end, he looks at himself in a mirror, bursts into tears, pulls out a gun, points it to his head, screen fades to black and you hear a gunshot. In this ending, he leaves the bar and goes the right way, in stead of the way he came that caused all the trouble in the beginning. This is a much happier ending, and leaves it open for a sequel.

it is a real sad ending if you think about it. Girlfriend dead, king of a land he no longer cares about, surrounded by idiots and people he hates, with nothing left to do. The game's original ending was going to involve Conker walking up to a mirror in the pub, bursting into tears, pulling out a gun and aiming it at his head. The screen would fade out, and a gunshot would be heard. This ending was dumped because "It didn't spot much for a sequel." When Chris Seavor was asked about a new Conker game, he said it would focus entirely on the SHC/Tediz war, and Conker would be killed in the first scene.

I found that the only REAL improvement was better graphics; and that's all well and good but... i mean, the multi player makes no friggin sense, the controls r screwed up in multi player and they change so much with censorship and even the story mode; how the perspective changes when u take out your bat... it just seems a little weird for this kinda game... too much like first-hand-shooter only with a bat... i'm sorry, i'm just venting now. lol

something that is important in the ending is that conker goes the other way when leaving the bar (meaning he's probably going home) another thing that i realized is that in the xbox version when conker is giving his final speech everyone is sitting there emotionless for no apparent reason. The entire ending is... incredible. When Conker talks to us when he's sat on the throne, with the background music, and when he repeats "gone" with a deadly tone and a strange glare... When HE repeats "doesn't look too good tonight", what he said at the beginning of the game... Simply awesome. Whta's the name of the music at Conker's final speech while on the throne ?

They bleep shit and twat but in a way it makes it funnier at least for me I don't know why. Anyway, its the same game but with unbelievable graphics (they were awesome on the N64 in its time too) and way better sound. I think there's little changes like in the matrix part conker instead of having to SMGs he has only one M16.
