to do so. I truly feel that the real hero's are the families that are left behind to continue with normal everyday life. And the greatest of these hero's are the spouses who now have to run an entire household, raise the kids, and be both a mother and a father in the absence of the other parent. Well, it's really a combination of the two, kind of a Led Zeppelin stlyed piece. In fact I play it on a 12 string in a special tuning I invented called the Celtic Cross. It's similar to the sound of "Bruan Y Aur". It sounds like a dark mystical middle Eastern riff in a sense. The vocals would be of a metal anthem variety. Stefbot has given me the ideas to right the last two verses, maybe three! I will definately play some metal guitar for the solos. I'll send you a copy once recorded. Thanx mate

I'd like to ask a question if I may? I have an old friend-he "worked" in Finland during the war-for the German Army as a Hauptmann in the Elch Division.I have many pictures of him there in Finland. He won the Iron Cross 1st+2nd Class-the German Cross in Gold, and the Finnish Freedom Medal (I can't remember the Finnish name), and have a picture of him wearing it. I'd just like to know what would the Finns attitude today if they could meet him today? Good or bad?

i think your comment about "it's a career choice" is a revealing one and insightful. people may be reading too much into the fact that people are reenlisting. Considering that there are probably more opportinities in this area for those that are willing to take the risks, it may seem to be the best choice for many of them. As you say for career.
