Well, these monster thingys that i cant remebe4r the name of eat people, and so humans wont notice to drop in population all of a sudden, they are replaced with the flames of guze. after awhile the flames disapear and noone notices when they leave. The main character is also a flame, and all he wants is to be remembed. But, once he meets a flame haze named shana, his whole veiw of the world changes. lol, you'll understand it once yo see it.

lol, Ill point out this, if ur only going to watch SI dont even bother, theirs alot of unanswered questions at the end, which I guess is why their is SII, I finished it yesterday (SI) and I liked the ending, but it wasnt really an ending...if u get what I mean, cause of SII. I recommend this anime to anyone who likes their action mixed with romance, comedy, and the supernatural. The animation and the character relationships are amazing, and the action keeps you interested. Fights never last more than two episodes, so you don't get sick of it. If you're a fan of Bleach, you're sure to like Shana even more.
