Listen to Tony's tone, attack and choice of notes. Not to take anything away from Earl Scruggs (and I agree he deserves a Kennedy Center Honor) but Tony Ellis is a bluegrass master in his own right. FF9 was pretty good, very good graphics for a ps1 game. FFX was better imo, but its ps2 and thats the first one i played =) DF is pretty good, great with a guitar, but they do get very repetitive, and their songs take commitment to listen to, cos theyre all over 5 minutes, which i find can get stale. IM NOT A DF HATER, IM JUST POINTING OUT WHAT I PERSONALLY DISLIKE ABT DF. I STILL THINK THEYRE GREAT

Most people who hate on dragonforce hate on it for this reason: Dforce was exposed to a ton of ppl from their song being on Guitar Hero. Most people are anti "mainstream" and don't like anything that people like just because its pictured as "cool". Thus making it easy to hate on, in a way guitar hero was a bad thing for Dragonforce, made it easy for alot of people to hate it, kind of like "I dont like Dforce cause they're "bubblegum" music.If that's your reason for hating it, thats very foolish

they sound the same, but if you're willing to listen to them a lot, you can actually hear that a lot of songs have a different "feel" in them. Likewise, the newest album feels totally different while it sounds kinda like the same.
