Mine too. People call me biased because he's my favorite all time in general, but frankly, I just love the way he plays guitar too. It's his songwriters ear for what sounds good. He understands it's not how many chords you play, but the feeling and sound you get from it. Their duel solos are a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Stills is much more a blues taught guitar player, where as Neil is very raw and crude as if some people would say...he just has his own style and it works.

Cool story about Neil and his family at Christmas. This band is the first I ever saw in a very large concert in 1974. It was CSNY, Santana and Jesse Colin Young. Not a bad start at all. You're right about the drummer. I think that was Greg Reeves. This was just after they first appeared at Woodstock as CSNY. I'm having trouble remembering who the host of this show was. He was a 60s comedian.

Born much too late, nothing today compares to this time, not as pure in a way, any festival today has 100+ sponsors and advertising everywhere, back then the main purpose was just the music itself, it pisses me of so much, most of the 'musicians' today mime or play to backing tracks, and still people think they are 'the best ever' when back then people were doing it with next to nothing technology wise, and were still 20x better than any digitally assisted musical perfomance of today =/

As a matter of fact, CO2 is NOT helping the plants. Theres way to much CO2 in the air. The cars and machines produce a lot of CO2 emissions. This is contributing to the greenhouse effect, which is making the earth warmer. Aswell as the rainforrest harvesting contributes to the greenhouse effect. Smoking = Bad, for urself and others. Its quite funny when hippies smoke and then are against greenhouse effect. Thats why I called them dumb, they dont understand that smoking is contributing.

Not all of the hippies are tree huggers, it's true. But the smoking accully helps the pollution a lot, it makes the plants get diseases which isen't good at all. The same thing is when there is too many cars driving in the cities, the trees often get diseases by the smoke and you can see it if you look at the body of the tree, then there is some "markings".
