CBC Radio! They pretty much play anything on that station. Bar none! When I used to drive to Grand Rapids everyday for my job (taking the company truck), I used to listen to WMMQ (94.9, East Lansing) once I passed the Milford/New Hudson exit on I-96 and would be looking forward to Nights w/ Alice Cooper at 7pm. He'll play stuff that you'll never hear on the radio. He used to be on WCSX, but I don't know why they took him off. Big mistake.

Yeah, I'm from Detroit too and the best radio stations around here are Canadian late at night (CBC Radio, CJAM, etc.). The internet is a Godsend, though. Listen to stations anywhere on Earth. WFMU is probably the best station in America.

Everytime I listen to WRIF radio (Detroit, 101.1), every band sounds the same, like if a bunch of different bands went in and used the same exact equipment (in these cases, the dreadful sounding Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier amps, w/ PRS guitars). No creativity whatsoever. I know that I'm the minority, I heavily love the rock music from 1965 to 1975.
